STOP BEING CARELESS ABOUT YOUR HEART’S CONDITION BEFORE GOD, says God’s Word to my heart while reading Jesus’ words to the seven churches in Revelation 2 and 3.  He said “I know all the things you do.  I have seen your love, your faith, your service and patient endurance.  I can see your constant improvement in all these things, BUT”…    I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive, BUT”…  “I find that your actions do not meet the requirements of my God. Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly.”   While these were written to the churches, He mentioned that he was aware of individuals within the churches as well.  He has His eye on each of us and it is a great reminder to continue to be faithful in sufferings, to remain loyal to Him, to repent of sin, to persevere and hold tightly to the very end until He comes.  I believe God is doing a work at HWWC because of prayers over many years that we, as individuals are allowing Him to do a work in us.  He wants us to remain attentive and intentional about our faith.  God’s Word always makes me do some self-evaluation, but these two chapters in the Bible’s  last  book, in red letters, talking about the last of days hit harder, and I want to be counted with those in the church at Philadelphia 3:10-12. Godspeed to HWWC and its congregation as we grow in our faith and head towards the culmination of His Kingdom plan.
