Our Bible is the pure breath of God. It is alive, and you can’t read it without being changed. God’s Word is still the living breath of God for today!
The world has challenged it, and has researched it to discredit it, and prove it’s wrong. These efforts have often resulted in conversions of the sceptics.
The Word has changed lives, countries, crushed enemies, healed broken hearts, set captives free from the chains of sin, made real men and real women out of broken lives.
Personally, it is the direct transforming power of God in our daily lives. Do you desire a closer relationship with God? Do you want to know the perfect will of God for your life? Look at what Apostle Paul said in Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.”
It is our source of strength, encouragement, and Hope.
As explained in Romans 15:4 “ For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.”
This Bible is our standard, it never grows old, it is fresh every day. Those who say the Bible is too hard to understand and it’s outdated, that it no longer meets the needs of today’s society, represents the presence of the Apostate atmosphere of the end times. An atmosphere of departing from Biblical truths and standards, replacing the Word with Social religious reasoning, representing open rebellion to Christ Jesus .
But Paul reminds us in 2 Timothy 3:16, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”
Conviction is of the Holy Ghost; Correction is from the power of the scriptures in truth and training in righteousness.
