We find ourselves in a new season; some may think that we are in a season of restoration. I challenge the sentiment that we are not, just by definition alone, restoration is the action of returning to a former owner, condition, or something that was lost. I don’t believe that a season of restoration is ours, but instead one of transitional growth. God’s ways are truly amazing! The theme that He placed on our hearts for 2025, Growing Relationships, Inspiring Transformation, has been pivotal to our resolve as we walk through this transformation together. Let me encourage you today to know that God was there first, went through it first and He is the same yesterday today and forever. [Heb. 13:8] The things that take us by surprise do not surprise Him.
Use these verses to stand firm in the knowledge that you are not alone. He is with you and we are linked arm and arm together. Know that we are praying for you and your transformational growth.
“2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” – James 1:2-4
“12 Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. 13 Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.” – 1 Peter 4:12-13
“3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.” – Romans 5:3-4
