Are you tired, muddled in your thoughts and need a place to rest your brain? Jesus is that person and place. If we can steer our thoughts that way and ask Holy Spirit to help us, we can have the help we need when we are on overload in order to feel His peace. Phil. 4:6&7 says “Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” This peace might not happen all at once because the world and cares are heavy, so Paul gave us verse 8 “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right and pure and lovely and admirable. Think about these things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Jesus is our resting place and as we read His Word to us and sing his praises and worship Him and his holiness, peace will come.
