“Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners will be converted to You.”
- Psalm‬ ‭51‬:‭10‬-‭13‬ ‭NASB

We often know and eagerly accept the great commission but before we do that, it is vitally important that we look inward first. Notice how King David after visited by the Prophet Nathan first asked for a clean heart, then a steadfast spirit? How he asked for joy, sustainment, and willingness. After all that, after that time of reflection David then set out to teach and wonderfully declared that sinners would be converted to God. How beautiful is the thought of forgiveness? When was the last time we sat and just pondered what we have been forgiven of?

“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” - Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭NASB

Now, use that forgiveness as your testimony to go out and share the gospel of salvation.
