"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer." Psalms 19:14

This verse should sound familiar to you, at least I hope it does. Yes, it's our benediction! Do you just recite the words, or do you reflect on it at the end of every service? I genuinely hope that you give it more thought than just checking off the boxes. Everything we say out loud, inside our heads and our hearts, the Lord hears. Is what we are saying pleasing to Him? If He was standing in the room next to you would you utter those words to His face?

If you answered no its time to take a moment for some introspection. Even if you said yes, its still not a bad idea to verify that these words we are willing to utter, do indeed prove to be acceptable in His sight. "Thumper Theology" tells us if "You can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all." If you are meditating on the bad things you are planting them in your heart. They will grow there and they will undoubtedly bloom into the words that fall out of your mouth.

"We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:5

Hide His word in your heart. Meditate on it daily. Put the Word into action by living it each day.
