There are roughly 76 verses that speak of connection in the Bible according to KnowingJesus.com. But I want to take the time as we close out connections month here at Healing Waters Worship Center to talk about just one.
Jesus says in John 15:5 ”I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.“
See, we are meant to be connected to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, without Him we are incapable of doing what He has ultimately planned for our lives. I want to take it a step further and say without staying connected to the Trinity and each other we are incapable of fulfilling the plan God has for us in our lives. What does connecting to each other look like? Is it going for coffee on a Monday, bringing in a card on a Birthday, or picking up a trinket on travel for someone that you thought of? Is it holding a baby in the nursery, teaching a lesson on patience to the teens, or praying for your Pastoral staff? I think that it is all of them, and many more than we can list here of. I encourage you as this is the last Sunday of connections month, to find your connection point and watch how the move of God begins to develop greater in your daily walk.
