Healing Waters Worship Center family,

Greetings from the Church of God State Office in Roanoke! It is truly my honor to share a brief word of encouragement with you this week. As your Pastor’s Pastor, please know that my prayers are with you as you navigate this significant season. Without question, the Lord has been faithful over the past year, and He will continue to carry you forward.

It has often been said that great growth requires great challenge. Simply put, progress rarely comes without perseverance through hardship and seasons of testing. I believe the Lord allows what is necessary to draw us closer to Him. While I dare not question the ways of God—they are far higher than mine—I do trust Him to faithfully lead us along the path that draws us nearer to His heart.

One powerful result of great challenge is the revelation of strength. Your church family has demonstrated remarkable strength. From your Lead Pastor to your staff, Council, local church leaders, and faithful members, the congregation of Healing Waters Worship Center stands on a rock-solid foundation. You are grounded in sound biblical faith, built with Spirit-inspired purpose, and sustained by a resolve that is not easily shaken. I commend you wholeheartedly.

When God allows a church to be tested as yours has been, He does so with divine purpose. He has strengthened you and carried you through because He intends to use your church to reach your community—and the world—for His glory. Countless lives will be touched and transformed through your ministry. Of this, I have no doubt.
