Community Care

Our ministry is to serve within our church family and within our community during a time of need. We are here to provide families assistance during times of loss of a family member. We will work closely with the family to provide food, care package, and if needed, counseling services. The care team will provide meals for the immediate family the day before the funeral or up to two days prior to the funeral. We will be available during visitation and funeral services for any assistance that may be needed. Our team will arrange follow up care with the family for one year.

We would consider it an honor to help with these things to make life a little easier on the bereaved family. For years it has been a group of people making food, serving it, set up and clean up. This group has been awesome to work with, now with more than one team it makes it easier for more people to be involved. All  of our care teams are amazing people with a heart to serve and to love others, we can also provide a meal for anyone who is or recently has been in the hospital. We are His hands and feet to reach those who are broken.

Hebrews 13:2 – “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.”
Mark 12:31 – “… ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
